How to Manually Post WebEx Recordings

This guide can be used if you conducted a session and would like to provide the recording to another course/section or you successfully record your WebEx session but it did not get pushed to the course. If this occurs, you will need to manually post the recording to the course via the Course Forum.

Recordings are usually available in the course within 24 hours after the WebEx session finishes.

Step 1

Go to the UNIC WebEx page HERE and sign in with your WebEx credentials.


Step 2

Access the Recording menu item found on the left side of the page.


Step 3

The page that loads will list all the recordings in your WebEx account.

Once you have located your recording click the Share button - this is the second from last option available for the recording.

If there are many recordings listed, you can use the search bar at the top of the page to find it.


Step 4

This will display the Share Recording dialogue. Copy the Public Link

You can click the Copy Link button to copy it easily as pointed out by a red arrow above.


Step 5

Take the copied information and post it in the Course Forum to ensure that the students are notified about it.
