Student Evaluations for Administrators
This article provides instructions on accessing and viewing student evaluations from an administrator's perspective.
Step 1
Log in to your account and you’ll typically land on the main dashboard, which aggregates various administrative functions.
Step 2
Click the “Administration” section on the top navigation bar to reveal a drop-down menu. Then, select “Student Evaluations” from the drop-down options. This will direct you to the student evaluations management page.
Step 3
Choose your desired filters from drop-down menus, such as selecting a specific academic period or school. For instance, if you want to view evaluations for a specific school during "Spring 2024," select these options from the respective dropdowns and click “Add Filter Group.”
Once on the Student Evaluations page, you can filter the evaluations to narrow down your view based on specific criteria like Academic Period, School, Department, Course, Lecturer, or Mode of Delivery.
After setting your filters, you will see a group of evaluations categorized and labeled with the number of evaluations.
You can even select to see multiple groups of evaluations categorized.
Step 6
Click on a group to expand and view more details. This will include aggregate results, text results, and specific questions answered during the evaluations. Within a group, you can view detailed results, such as the aggregate scores for questions like lecturer performance, course material quality, etc.
Step 7
If you need to export the data, click the “Export” button at the top of the page, as depicted in the image above. This allows you to download the evaluations in PDF format for reporting or archival purposes.
Please note that you cannot export evaluation data until you have added a filter group. This is to ensure that the data exported is precisely tailored to your specific requirements.
