MBAN DL - Electronic Textbooks: VitalSource
Several of the MBA courses make use of electronic textbooks via VitalSource. This was an initiative supported by the UNIC Library and Eleni Singou (Librarian). The following courses make use of this service:

Setting up VitalSource Activity
The activity should look like this in Moodle after successfully setting it up:
External Tool
To set up one of these activities follow the steps below:
Open the course in Moodle, Turn editing on, Add an activity or resource
Select External tool
Click Show more at the bottom of General
Activity name: Course Textbook: [Book title] ← Book title can be found in the table above.
Activity description: For future convenience, include the Tool URL and Icon URL (see below for both)
Preconfigured tool: Automatic, based on tool URL
Tool URL: https://bc.vitalsource.com/books/[SKU_of_book] ← SKU can be found in the table above.
Icon URL: https://dl.unic.ac.cy/Moodle/CourseIcons/book1.png
Save and return to course
It should look like this before saving (example from MBAN-530DE):
Label
Below the External tool create a Label resource with the following text:
NOTE: Please be informed that your e-textbook for this course is provided free of charge by UNIC Library through VitalSource for the current semester.
Feedback
You may be requested to create a Feedback questionnaire for this activity at the end of each semester. It is recommended that you use Google Forms to do so.

Once created, add a new label to the course with the feedback form as shown below:
Be sure to share the responses spreadsheet with Eleni Singou form the Library.
