This article provides instructions for accessing and using the main view of the My Files application in Accelerate while logged in.

Step 1

Adding New Files or Folders

Click the “Add New’ button” at the top left corner to add new files or folders.

You have two options:

  1. Create a new folder: Enter a folder name and click the “CREATE” button.

When you create a new folder, you will see a notification at the top of your page:

  1. Upload files: Drag and drop files or click in the designated area to select files from your device (up to 1000 files per time).

When you select and upload any files you want, you will see a notification at the top of your page:

Step 2

Importing a Webpage

To import contents from a webpage directly into your files, click “Import Webpage” next to the “Add New” button.

Enter the URL of the webpage you want to import and choose whether to include images from the webpage by checking the 'With Images' box. Then, click “FETCH URL” to start the import.


Step 3

Managing Existing Files

For any existing file in your personal files, you can perform several actions, such as:

Copy Link: Select a file and click “Copy Link” to copy the file’s URL to the clipboard. It is limited to one selection at a time and applies only to files, not folders.

When you select and upload any files you want, you will see a notification at the top of your page:

“Link copied to clipboard” for copying the link of your files.

Delete: Select a file and click “Delete” to remove the file.

After clicking the “Delete” button, a confirmation window will pop up:

Click "Delete" to confirm the deletion, or click "Cancel" to abort the action.

If you click “Delete,” you will see a notification at the top of your page:

“File deleted successfully” for deleting your file or folder.

Rename: Click “Rename” to rename a selected file or folder. For Folders a pop-up window with the field Name appears, and for Files a pop-up window with fields for "File Name," "Title," and "Alt" appears. You can click “Rename” to confirm the changes, or click “Cancel” to abort the action. It is limited to one selection at a time and applies only to files, not folders.

When you rename any folder you want, you will see a notification at the top of your page:

File Example

When you rename any file you want, you will see a notification at the top of your page:

Move To: To relocate a file, click “Move To.” If moving within the same folder, ensure you select a different destination folder or create a new one to avoid an error. Users can move multiple files or folders into other folders.

After selection, a pop-up window displays available folders and paths, allowing users to navigate and choose the new location for the selected items.

If you choose to move a folder and click on its name, an error notification will appear on the bottom right corner of your page:

"Cannot move folder or file to the same parent folder" for not selecting a new valid location for your folder.

Actions such as Move To or Delete are limited to 10 items at a time. If you try to select more than 10 items, you will see a notification at the top of your page:

"Can select up to 10 folders or files" for exceeding the selection limit.

Please note that your Accelerate’s appearance may vary depending on your selected mode (dark or light).
