How to Add Unic to Safe Senders

In case you are not receiving any UNIC emails or keep finding the emails sent in the junk folder this guide will show you how to set UNIC to be recognized as a safe sender.

This guide will cover users of Hotmail/Live/Outlook online, Gmail and Yahoo

Hotmail/Live/Outlook online

Step 1

Login to your personal account


Step 2

On the top right-hand side, find and click on the ‘Settings’ icon as shown in the above image and then click on “Options” which is highlighted.

 


Step 3

When step 2 is complete you will be on this page, click on the option ‘Safe and Blocked Senders’

 


Step 4

Then click on ‘Safe Senders’


Step 5

Finally, type the following text in the ‘Sender text’ field: *unic.ac.cy. Then click “Add to list”

You have now successfully put the UNIC email under safe senders.


Gmail

Step 1

Login to your personal Gmail account


Step 2

 

Find and click on ‘Settings’ as shown in the image above.


Step 3

 Click on ‘Filters and Blocked Addresses’ link and check the list of filters on the webpage that will open. If you find anything that ends with unic.ac.cy, please delete it.


Yahoo

Step 1

login to your personal Yahoo account


Step 2

Click on the settings icon and select settings as shown above.


Step 3

Then click ‘filters’ and then click ‘Add’. On the next screen type the filter name, (e.g. “UNIC”) and on the sender type “unic.ac.cy. Finally, click ‘Save’.
