When getting away from Wifi, LockDown Browser starts checking for my connection
It detects instantly when student gets away from camera

There is no alternative if a student has no integrated camera. They need to get an external USB camera. Even though it is doable to use a camera software and use their mobile phone’s camera, it is not allowed by Respondus. Periodically they do updates banning certain camera apps. Hence, a USB camera is the only way to mitigate this. When using an external USB camera sometimes the face check may fail and then the student will be unable to try again. In that case the only solution is to close the lockdown browser and go through the precheck once again.

When it comes to links shared inside the questions, the maximum number is 40. In the Respondus dashboard the text editor allows us to insert as many links as we wish but keep in mind when it comes to the exam, only the first 40 will work. The remaining ones will also be accessible but the student will not be able to click and navigate in that specific page.
