How to enable/disable multi-factor authentication (MFA)

This article provides instructions for enabling/disabling Multi-Factor Authentication while logged in.
Step 1
Please begin by following this Link, which will direct you to the sign-in page for Accelerate.
If you're unsure how to log in, follow this guide here.
Step 2
While logged in to your account, look for the profile icon in the top right corner of the page. Click on the profile icon to access your account settings. In the drop-down menu that appears after clicking on your profile icon, locate and click on the option labelled "Sign In & Security." This will take you to the section where you can manage your account security settings.
Step 3
In the Multi Factor Authentication field, please click on the “Setup” button, as depicted in the image above.
Step 4
A window will pop up saying that you need to scan the QR code with your Microsoft Authenticator application. For iOS, you can find the application on the app store, and for Android, you can find it on the Play Store.
When you enter the QR code, a 6-digit code will show up in your app, and in the field “Type the 6-digit code here,” type the code as depicted in the image above. Please enter your account’s password below the 6-digit code and click "Continue.”
Your Multi-Factor Authentication has been enabled successfully.
If you want to disable your Multi-Factor Authentication, all you need to do is to click on the button as depicted in the image below:
If you disable Multi-Factor Authentication and want to reenable it, you can click on the same button you used to disable it.
