The course must exist in Moodle first.
Send a Jira request to VLE Team (Marios Theodoulou) for the merging clearly stating course codes and in which course they need to be merged. i.e.,
PHAR301-02-f-2022 merged into PHAR301-01-f-2022. This will merge section 02 into section 01.
Manually transfer the students to the merged course and unenroll the lecturer from the empty courses. The tool of Merge courses can be used from here under DLIT tab. https://courses.unic.ac.cy/admin/search.php#linklocal_dlit_admin
MBAN Courses have a different method of merging with DL courses. Contact the LMS colleague for instructions or contact Julie Boyadjian boyadjian.j@unic.ac.cy or Irene Constantinou constantinou.i@unic.ac.cy.
Julie will note down the merges in the shared Google Spreadsheet. Make sure to clarify with her before merging.
Make sure you note down the merged courses for future reference.
