Enrolling/Unenrolling students in your course

This applies on specific courses. Please contact us to confirm if this applies to your course.

First log in Moodle https://courses.unic.ac.cy/ and locate the course PHAR – Πρακτική Φαρμακευτικής and open in.

In the course make sure you have the panel on the left open as show in the image below

If the panel is closed, you can open in by clicking on the 3 lines appearing on the top left corner of your screen.

On the panel click Participants. Here you can view all the students and lecturers currently enrolled in the course.

Participants
  1. Search the students name or surname.

  2. Select the initial of First name or Surname to view specific students. (Do not forget to go back to All to view all the students in the course.

  3. Scroll the pages to view the students.

  4. If you like to enroll a student, click on the Enrol users on the top right corner.

 

Enrolling a student

  1. To enrol a student type in the first Search box

 

2. Start typing the student ID as shown below.

Note: Please avoid searching with names as there are many students with the same name. Student ID’s are unique to each student and this assures us that the correct students are given access to the course.

3. Click on the student name to select them. Now the student should appear above the search box.

Proceed of doing Step 2 as many times as needed to select all the students that need access.

When you like to finish click on the Enrol selected users and cohorts. Now all the students that were selected should appear in the course.

Unenrolling a student

Open Participants to view all enrolled students.

On the very right column of each student you can view some options. To unenroll a student simply click on the bin icon.

When you click the bin icon a confirmation will pop up to confirm the unenrolment.

Click confirm if you are sure.

Mass unenrollments

(This can be used to unenroll 2 or more students at the same time)

Open Participants to view all enrolled students.

On the left of each student there is a check box. Check the boxes of all the students that need to be unenrolled from the course.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and locate “With selected users…”

From the drop-down list select Delete selected user enrolments.

A confirmation page will open to review your selection. If it is correct, click Unenrol users.
