Hearing Impaired Students
At the end of week 2 (beginning of the 3rd) of every semester, we are receiving an email from Ms Mikaela Coumoundourou (DLA dept) informing us who are the Hearing Impaired Students and which courses are taking for the specific semester.
The OLSU is prepearing the spreadsheet with all required info (pic below):
Ms Mikaela Coumoundourou (DLA dept) is also informing us regarding the specific webex sessions (usually those webex sessions are refering to ALL sections) according to the course leaders, that we need to add in the spreadsheet.
Next step is to add Ms Foteini Skafida (fskafida@gmail.com) - sign language and Ms Anastasia Petraki (anelixisolutions@gmail.com) - transcription as non editing teachers to the corresponding course sections.
Instructions for Non-Editing Teacher role for Hearing Impaired Students
add Ms Skafida & Ms Petraki to section 1 of the courses they will inform us

After a session is finished, we convert the .arf file to an .mp4 format.
When we will receive the sign language videos from Ms Skafida via google drive link, we integrate them with the mp4 file through Camtasia software.
We add the new mp4 file to the S3 and we send the link to the coresponding students.
Same thing happens when we receive the transcription from Ms Petraki; we send the word file to the student and we add it to the S3.
Please be reminded that we add ALL files to the S3 production and S3 space.
