How to Fix the Audio Issue on WebEx

If you clicked “No” when asked Do you wasn’t to participate? In the WebEx session then you will not be able to connected to the audio of the session. Follow this guide to resolve the issue.

You can also identify if you were not correctly connected to a session if there is no device icon to the right of your name.

Example:

 

In case the lecturer has not shared their screen

In case the lecturer has not shared their screen locate the Audio menu at the upper right of the WebEx application. Then, Click Integrated Voice Conference > Join Conference as shown in the above picture.


In case the lecturer has shared their screen

Step 1

Hover your mouse over the blue bar that appears at the top of your screen that says Viewing (Lecturer Name)'s desktop and click the arrow that is available all the way on the right as pointed by a red arrow in the image above.

Step 2

From the menu that appears click Integrated Voice Conference > Join Conference.

If you have successfully connected to the audio you should see the device icon to the right of your name. As indicated in the picture.
