Sending messages

Click on the title of your course to open the course material.

Here you can either send a message to ALL your students through the forum Course Forum / Ανακοινώσεις, Διευκρινίσεις & Απορίες and that will give access to ALL students to view it and reply to you. Everything that is posted there can be viewed by all students and any reply you’ll get in the forum, you’ll also get a message on your e-mail.

If you require to send a private message to specific students you can follow the instructions below.

Click on Participants that you see on the left list in your course.

This will give you an overview of all the students in your course and some details about them. Use the check boxes on the left to select the students you will like to send a private message.

Under this list of student there is the option of “With selected users…” and a drop down menu. In that menu select “Send a message”. This will automatically open a new page with a box to write your message in. See the example below.

You can edit the users(students) you are sending the message to, then click Preview and then Send message. Now the message has been send to the selected students.
